If you’re thinking about giving a gift to a friend, lover, or yourself, there’s hardly anything easier and tastier. This Vegan chocolate-covered strawberry is a treat. When you bite into the Vegan chocolate-covered strawberries, there is a crunch. You immediately feel the sweetness of the strawberry on your tongue. Best of all, this recipe is ready in 15 minutes. Let’s get started.

Vegan strawberries with chocolate coating Ingredients

You got it right, this recipe only requires two ingredients.

Strawberries: I recommend large and juicy organic strawberries from a market for this recipe. Alternatively, you can pick up two packs of organic strawberries from your local organic market. Please make sure that the strawberries are a deep and bright red. The stalk should be a nice green with a nice white transition underneath.

Chocolate: It’s best to use a bar of vegan chocolate. You can use a vegan praline chocolate or a 70% dark chocolate. Both are vegan.

Chocolate brands that I recommend

Organic Vegan Praliné Chocolate: This sweet chocolate gives your Vegan chocolate-covered strawberries the last sprinkle for your taste buds.

Organic 70 % Chocolate: This chocolate has a chocolate content of 70% and is bitter, delicious, it is healthy. If you prefer the sweetness of strawberries, you can use them. It is also vegan.

Should you add sugar?

I recommend not adding sugar to your Vegan chocolate-covered strawberries. When you’re using the praliné chocolate your treat will be sweet. Moreover, when you’re using dark chocolate, it will be very strong and intense in flavor. The high-quality organic strawberries contain fructose, so there is no need to add any external sugar. This recipe is therefore still healthier.

VEGAN CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRY TIPS

Before we continue with the recipe, I have a few tips for you

Advantage: Your hands stay clean, and you can spread the chocolate finer and better around the strawberry. Therefore, you get a very nice result.

HOW TO MAKE VEGAN CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES

  1. Preparing the plate: line the strawberries onto your plate.
  2. Washing the strawberries: Wash the strawberries and dab them thoroughly until they are no longer wet. This step is very important for the next step when the chocolate coating is added.
  3. Melting the chocolate: Melt the chocolate. Use a heat-resistant bowl and bring the water to a boil. Keep stirring in a circular motion to see if the chocolate melts steadily. Keep stirring until the chocolate has completely melted.
Add the strawberries to the chocolate sauce. Dip the strawberries into the chocolate either by hand or with a wooden dipper. For best results, dip the strawberries very deeply and then rotate them 360 degrees. This will ensure that the entire strawberry is covered in chocolate.
  4. Place the strawberries: Now you can place the strawberries in your baking tin and leave them to dry.
  5. Pro tip: If you have a power freeze button in your fridge, you can press it. In no time at all, you will have shock-chilled VEGAN CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES.
  6. Leave them in the freezer for at least 10–15 minutes to achieve a good result. You can, of course, simply leave the strawberries in the room for 30 minutes.
  7. Leave the VEGAN CHOCOLATE-COVERED STRAWBERRIES to stand at room temperature for 5 minutes and then enjoy. Enjoy them quickly, because they taste the best fresh!

GIVE YOUR VEGAN CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES your touch with garnish

If you want to surprise your guests or yourself and have some time. You can make your Vegan Chocolate Covered Strawberries. Garnish them to show off and with different toppings!

Here are a few toppings that go well:

Colorful sprinkles: Gives a nice visuality to your strawberries and tastes delicious.

Chopped pistachios: Don’t these green pistachios look beautiful on the Vegan Chocolate Covered Strawberries? Yes, I think so too and they taste good too!

Cocoa nibs: These give your Vegan Chocolate Covered Strawberries a pleasant look and crunch and are guaranteed vegan and healthy!

Chopped nuts: You can use the nut of your choice here. I like to use organic macadamia nuts as they taste excellent to me and have a creamy, nutty flavor.

Can you make Vegan Chocolate Covered Strawberries ahead of time?

I don’t recommend it because Vegan Chocolate Covered Strawberries taste the best fresh. It should be eaten on the day they are prepared. You can prepare and wash the strawberries the day before and store them in an airtight container in the fridge. This will keep the strawberries fresh for up to 48 hours. You can then cover the strawberries perfectly with the vegan chocolate the next day or after the two days.
